  This stunning Belle Époque bracelet in platinum and 18K yellow gold is a depiction of promise and potential. As an elongated lozenge flower bud coming to light, a sapphire core bursts out of its outer sepals of 40 old mine brilliant cut diamonds encrusted in platinum. A gold base engraved with flourishing frills serves as the rich soil beneath these sprouting gems. Imagine how this jewel will come into full bloom while wearing it in the sun.

  After mid-century, railways linked all the major cities of Europe to spa towns like Biarritz and Deauville; their carriages were rigorously divided into first-class and second-class, but the super-rich now began to commission private railway coaches, asexclusivity was a hallmark of opulent luxury. Bohemian lifestyles gained a different glamour, pursued in the cabarets of Montmartre.
