Zhang painted this series to show the situation of the migrant workers coming from the countryside to work in the city. Most of the migrant workers live in container like dwellings with very few space and are dreaming of a better life. Sometimes trying to escape while thinking they are astronauts flying to the moon.
Sobre el artista
Nacido en 1988 en Guangzhou, Zhang Zhaoying se graduó de la Academia de Bellas Artes de Sichuan en 2013 y asistió como académico visitante en el Instituto de Arte de Bruselas durante 2013-2014.
