  Chelsea vive y trabaja en Barcelona, España. Su inspiración son los pequeños detalles, a menudo inadvertidos, que componen la vida cotidiana: el humo de las chimeneas, el oro bruñido, los patrones bajo la pintura descascarada, las escaleras rotas que no conducen a ninguna parte, los estragos del tiempo grabados en el metal, un camino a través de un paisaje árido... “Cada pintura que Al comenzar, las capas y la textura continúan fascinándome al igual que el proceso.

  Mi temática sigue siendo la misma, el material en sí, la costa, el mar, líneas de deseo que atraviesan el paisaje, el tiempo y su efecto corrosivo sobre los materiales y encontrando la belleza en lo que vemos a nuestro alrededor.

  El mundo se filtra en mi estudio, el color, la luz, la política, la religión, la gente. Las conversaciones permanecen conmigo, los mapas me fascinan, los viajes me entusiasman. Crear y pintar es un imperativo y una obsesión sin la que no podría vivir ni un día”.
